Elise's practice explores her longing of home, while she is away from everyone she knows for her studies and her work. Growing up being surrounded by people she loves most of her life, to suddenly being moved to a different country in order to grow herself and be a better person for her family. Her work focus on that feeling of seeing the people she loves in her everyday life, without the person actually being there.
Memory lives in the quiet spaces between us.
